The Waitakere Chess club promotes and supports chess players of all levels and abilities. We meet for regular club nights on Thursdays, and regularly organize tournaments and events.
Most of our junior players are 5 – 12 years old (though there are no age restrictions).
Generally we have some coaching for about 20 minutes followed by a game. Though sometimes we change this up a little.
