My brother and my mother introduced me to the game of chess at the age of eight, and seriously at the age of twelve. My love of the game really developed in earnest during high school, when I played quick games during study hall with my friend Shawn.

My wife and I have recently re-started a chess club / coaching business in Alaska within the homeschool community to grow chess in Alaska!
