A little about myself:

I am Atharva from Maharashtra, India. I have been playing rating tournaments since 2021. I have a FIDE rating of 1687 as of June 2024. I know how difficult it is to train by yourself. It is always much easier if one has a personal chess coach to guide you through the journey of chess improvement. If you want to improve as well, I am here to help!

Here are some of my achievements.

● Winner of Matti Per Gli Scacchi Gennaio Open 2024. (Italy)
​● First runner up at the Pune University Intercollegiate chess tournament 2017.

● Represented India at multiple international tournaments in 10+ countries.

● Got interviewed by Chessbase India for creating an upset in the first round of the Gujarat International GM open 2022.

I have been coaching for the past 4 years in different countries and different age groups. It all comes down to great opening preparation, middle-game skills, tactical ability, and calculation. Almost all of my students have shown substantial growth in these areas. Anyone can improve quickly, given the right lessons. I offer personalized chess lessons. I see the games of the student and study their style, mistakes, and weaknesses. And then I build a tailored program to work on their key weaknesses.
