GM Pranav Venkatesh, also known as Buddy Pranav, is an Indian chess grandmaster and one of the youngest grandmasters in the world. Pranav earned the title in 2022 after securing his third norm at the 2022 Limpedea Cup, becoming the 75th grandmaster in Indian history. Pranav was the champion of the 2022 Challengers Chess Tour, an offshoot of the Champions Chess Tour.
In May 2024, Pranav won the first-ever Dubai Police Global Chess Challenge, scoring seven points out of eight.
