Polina Shuvalova is a Russian international master and three-time World Girls Champion. She earned two of those world titles in the under-18 category in 2018 and 2019, and the final gold medal came in the under-20 category in 2019. In 2016, she won the Moscow Women’s Chess Championship and the following year took the Russian Junior Chess Championship. Shuvalova has multiple titles at the European and World Youth Chess Championships. In 2020, she became Vice Russian Women Chess Champion

Shuvalova won the 2023 I'M Not A GM Speed Chess Championship, becoming the first woman to ever win the event, after she defeated IM Levy Rozman in the final. In 2024, she was a finalist in the Women's Speed Chess Championship.
