IM Kassa Korley
Bio
Kassa Korley is a half-Danish, half-American international master, content creator, and Chess.com's Director of Professional Relations. At the age of 15, Korley became the youngest African American to earn the US Chess national master title—a record later broken by Justus Williams and Joshua Colas. He then became a FIDE master in 2010 and an international master in 2014. Korley then started pursuing his grandmaster title after 2015 and currently has two norms.
As Chess.com's Director of Professional Relations, Korley disseminates important information to titled players and the broader Chess.com community, including issues on the topic of fair play and other matters of public interest.
