Kacper Piorun is a Polish chess grandmaster, two-time Polish champion, and five-time problem-solving world champion.

Piorun won the Polish U-16 championship in 2007 and the Polish Blitz Chess Championship in 2013. He also won the Polish chess championship in 2017 and 2020. The grandmaster also won two gold medals during the European U-18 Team Chess Championship playing on board 3 for the Polish national team.

Piorun is also famous for being an exceptional solver of chess problems. He won the individual World Chess Solving Championship in 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.
