Vladimir Akopian Wins Albena Open
The 2012 International Albena Open Chess Tournament in Bulgaria took place from 26 May - 3 June.
The 9-round Swiss event was won by Vladimir Akopian from Armenia on superior tie-breaks after five players finished equal on 7/9 points.
The time control was 90 minutes plus 30 second increment from the start.
