Bundesliga starts season's second half

BundesligaThis weekend two matches of the 7th round and the regular matches of the 8th and 9th round of the Schachbundesliga are played. The playing venues are Eppingen, Wattenscheid, Remagen and Mülheim. All pairings and information.

At Eppingen the host and the team of Baden-Baden meet the teams of München and Aue. Things seem to be clear at this venue as München and Aue are playing against relegation and will not compete with their best lineup.

The biggest contender of Baden-Baden, Werder Bremen, will play at the venue Wattenscheid. The "Green-Whites" are odds-on favourite in both matches but in the past not rarely they had problems against underdogs.

At the playing venue Remagen some crucial matches in the fight against relegation will take place. The host has to score especially against Griesheim in order to leave the relegation zone. Solingen is one of the best teams in the league and odds-on favourite in all matches.

At the playing venue Mülheim all participating teams lie in the midfield of the league. So all matches are expected to be very close. The host Mülheim is practicing for the next season. This team will host the first ever central round of the Schachbundesliga. From 14th to 16th of October 2011 the first three rounds of the season 2011/12 will be played with all teams in Mülheim.
