Arun Prasad Wins Paris Championship

The 2011 Paris Chess Championships were held from 2-10 July, and the winner was Indian Grandmaster and popular Chess.com columnist Arun Prasad.

Arun won the main Open competition, a nine round Swiss for players rated minimum 2200 Elo, with a score of 7/9.  His only loss occurred in round four, to his compatriot and frequent Chess.com collaborator GM Magesh Panchanathan!
