I played chess for fun as a teenager, but then stopped playing for about 30 years. I started playing again about three years ago. I play three or four tourmanents per year, usually with a two-hour clock. My brain doesn't think fast enough to play well in blitz, but I do OK in live online games of 15 minutes or longer. Even in these games, I sometimes make foolish blunders, but I hope by playing live online games, I will improve my tournament play.
