Hello there! My name is Laszlo Egri from Hungary. I am 23 years old and a student of University of Győr studying logistic engineering. My current fide rating is 2239.

I started playing chess at the age of 4. When I was 9 I got my first Fide rating that was 1941. With that I was 7th place in the U10 in the world. A few years later I won against strong opponents, Fide 2416, 2405. I won some Fide tournaments (2012 Mátra Open, 2014 Püspökladány Open) In 2014 I played World Youth U16 Olympiad in Győr. I was on the first board, and then in 2016 I qualified to European Youth Chess Championship in Prague. In the previous year I was there EUSA Rapid Chess Championship 2019 in Budapest.

I have been training others for 3 years and I had a few young students. As a coach I want to share my knowledge with others who need some help to become better at chess.  I can help mainly players from beginner to U2200 FIDE rating level.
