It has been my privilege to train students like WGM and IM Padmini Rout, GM Swayams Mishra, GM Debashish Das, IM Anwesh Upadhyay, WGM Kiran Manisha Mohanty and many more. I have been a trainer for over 27 years and in this journey, I've come across many kinds of students and ended up learning more about life and chess from these experiences. 

Some of my memorable parts of the journey include the following:
i. Securing 2nd position in All India Open in 1991 - 
ii. 1st place - All India Open - 1994 - It was an honour to see my birthplace "Odisha"'s name on the board when this happened.
iii. Represented Odisha in National B (first step to be selected to represent India) over 10 times
iv. Highest FIDE rating - 2214 - 

This journey made me realise that my passion lies in Chess and when I share it with my students, it helps them grow.
